Sealed bids for furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and services for the construction of the Downtown Intersection Monument Removal Project for the City of Sherwood will be received at the City Hall reception desk, 22560 SW Pine Street, Sherwood, Oregon 97140, until the BID CLOSING at 2:00 PM local time on Wednesday, September 7, 2016.  Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud after 2:00 PM at the Sherwood City Hall, Community Room, 22560 SW Pine Street, Sherwood, Oregon.
 

This project requires that bidders be prequalified with the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) in the electrical (ELEC) and Portland Cement Concrete Paving (PCP) categories.  

No bids will be accepted after the bid closing date & time. First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure forms, if applicable, will be received at the above mentioned location and date, until 4:00PM local time.

Official stamped bid documents will be posted to this webpage and uploaded to the listed plan centers on Monday, August 22, 2016 by 2pm, which is 16 calendar days prior to the bid closing date/time. UPDATE: Plans will be posted on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 for plan revisions in lieu of addendum. Description of the work to be completed. The project will remove 12 concrete corner monuments from 3 intersections located along SW 1st St, relocate existing city fiber optic lines that are located inside of the monuments into to new surface mounted junction boxes with slip resistant lids, install more efficient intersection lighting w/ smaller foundations, and install bollards to provide protection from turning vehicles. The selected contractor in essence needs to make the 12 intersection corners look and function like those at SW Railroad & Washington St shown below, which removed the monuments from the design.
