Description:
The Building Department provides consultation, plan review, permit and inspection services to the construction industry and the public. Our field inspectors also respond to citizen complaints, and pursue nuisance abatement and enforcement of City code.

Mission:
To uniformly enforce and provide consistency in interpretations of the Oregon Building Codes. To Work together with other local jurisdictions in order to improve standards on construction and provide efficient service to the construction industry and the public. At the Building Department, we build on the dedication of our employees to achieve and implement innovative programs to improve the effectiveness of the department. We are committed to anticipate and respond to changes and new technology in the construction industry.
