Providing and preserving Sherwood Parks and Open Space enhances the desirability of our area as well as contributing to the safety and health of our residents. Parks and Open Space are an investment in the future well-being of individuals and groups as well as the continued viability of our community. ~ Parks Vision statement

Sherwood has dedicated a section of Snyder Park as an off-leash area for our four-legged friends. Park is available sunrise to sunset at Snyder Park.

If you would like to reserve a shelter for your next function, please call Public Works at 503 625-5722 and we will be glad to schedule that for you. Rental fees are applicable for parks that have covered areas.

The City of Sherwood values events which bring people together through the celebration of the arts, sports, history, commerce, health and more. As a means of encouraging these gatherings, the City makes its streets and public right-of-way available to civic, private, and community groups to organize and sponsor activities that enhance Sherwood.
