The Mission of the Finance Department is to provide the finest in financial information, projections, and support services to the City staff, its Council and external users in support of their decision making processes.

Check Mark Outside review of YMCA contract released

After an executive session with City Council on March 18, 2014 the City is releasing the outside review of the YMCA contract.  The Council will discuss the results and next steps at their next regular meeting on April 1, 2014.  Any questions prior to next Council meeting please contact the City Manager's office at 503 625-4234.  Please see below for the attached document.

New Financial Tool Launched

With the goal of financial transparency in mind, the City of Sherwood has partnered with to begin presenting historical and current budget information to the public.  While the information being presented is limited to the General Fund only, the city plans on expanding the tool to other major city funds in the near future.  In addition, our goal is allow the public to drill down to actual year-to-date spending with this new tool.
