Current Construction Activity
Are you curious about the construction going on in your neighborhood's right of way? It might be construction approved under the City's right-of-way permit process through the Engineering Department. However, it might also be a land-use approved private development project. The following projects have recently received their go-ahead to construct public improvements so you will notice an uptick in activity at these sites:

Q: What are the hours that the contractor is allowed to work?
A: For public improvements in the right of way, contractors are allowed to work from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. These hours also include equipment maintenance and deliveries. Saturday and Sunday work is only approved if the contractor receives authorization from the City Manager.
Q: Do the hours listed above include construction activity on private property?
A: No. Those hours are 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Monday through Friday with Saturday work allowed from 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. and Sunday work allowed from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Holidays observed by the City are considered as Sundays.
Q: Are there any other road or lane closures I should know about?
A: Yes. There may be other projects about town that require road or lane closures which are noted on the Road or Lane Closure Notification web page.
