The City's Public Works and Utility Billing Departments are dedicated to daily activities to bring high quality water to every customer.  Listed below are several programs that, with the help of our residents and businesses, maintain the integrity and resilience of our entire water system.

The Sherwood City Council meets every first and third Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Sherwood City Hall, 22560 SW Pine Street. With the exception of any scheduled Executive Session, the meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.

It’s Always Raining in Oregon. Why Should I Conserve Water?
You wouldn't leave your faucet on if it’s not in use would you? Essentially, that’s what wasting water does. With a leak or when you waste water, you’re paying for water that you’re not using. While it may not seem like much, it all adds up!

Common Cross Connection

Customers who have cross connections are responsible for preventing contaminants from entering the public water system through their individual plumbing system by installing and maintaining approved backflow prevention assemblies.

Our hydrant flushing program is very important to our water system. It is an integral part of our ongoing effort to deliver the safest and highest quality water possible.

The transition to automated meter reading will occur progressively over time as the smart meter communication network is installed across the City.
