City of Sherwood Extends Declaration of State of Emergency
The City of Sherwood has extended its Declaration of State of Emergency period until April 2, 2020. The Declaration of State of Emergency was originally declared on March 12, 2020 for a two-week period by Sherwood City Manager, Joseph Gall. In Sherwood, the City Manager has the authority to extend the Declaration of State of Emergency in one week increments in the event that an emergency continues to exist.
“Obviously we are still in a critical period within Sherwood as we continue our collective efforts to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus,” stated Gall. “I anticipate that this state of emergency will likely be further extended in the future.”
