Website Improvements
City of Sherwood staff has recently completed some updates to the city's website in an effort to improve communication and ease of use. These updates added some new features that you may find helpful in searching for information on the website. Some of these features include:
- Mapping - Address locations can now be shown on a map within the web page.
- Find it in Sherwood - A service to learn about activities, classes, events, local organizations, and religious organizations in Sherwood.
- Projects - A webpage dedicated to showing all projects going on in Sherwood. Projects are shown on a map along with associated documents related to that project.
- Video - Videos are now hosted on YouTube and embedded into associated webpages. Video are now available at higher resolutions and utilize better streaming technology.
- Bids & RFPs - New bids and RFP section allows users to see open solicitations for goods and/or services.
- Library Catalog Search - In addition to revamping the Library page, users can also search the WCCLS catalog.
In the process of implementing these updates staff has had to migrate content between the city's old website and this new site. Therefore, you may notice some content in new locations and some older content missing. Staff is still very actively updating the website so if you encounter any missing information or information you feel is misplaced please let us know by using the contact form.
