The City of Sherwood is currently recruiting for a Library Page 1, for an on-call, non-exempt, non-represented position.
SUMMARY AND REQUIREMENTS

The Library Page performs routine duties within the Library, primarily limited to shelving collection items and shelf-reading, in addition to providing assistance to other staff as workload and staffing levels dictate, performing various clerical tasks in support of library operations (e.g. data entry, mail sorting, etc.), and answering basic questions from patrons while you are working in the stacks.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of arithmetic, spelling, alpha/numeric sorting methods, general clerical skills, operation of data entry and other standard office equipment, and customer service. Equivalent to high school education, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Previous work experience in a library.
