Sherwood Hosts Recreational Marijuana Town Hall
With the passage of Measure 91 in November 2014, the State of Oregon is working on a variety of fronts to implement recreational marijuana in Oregon. State Representative John Davis (House District 26) and State Senator Kim Thatcher (Senate District 13) will be conducting a Town Hall in Sherwood on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. The event begins at 6:30 pm and will be held in the Community Room of the Sherwood Police Department located at 20495 SW Borchers Drive in Sherwood.
In addition to both of Sherwood’s state legislators, a number of other law enforcement and elected officials will be participating in the event, including Sherwood Police Chief Jeff Groth, Washington County Sheriff Pat Garett and Washington County District Attorney Bob Hermann. After the general presentation of the current status of implementation efforts, there will be an opportunity for public comment and questions.
For further information about this Town Hall event, please contact Michelle Felton, Legislative Director for the Office of State Representative John Davis at 503.986.1426
