Public Notice
City of Sherwood-Council Vacancy
On October 7, 2014 the Sherwood City Council declared the vacancy of a City Council Seat, vacated by a resignation. Pursuant to the Sherwood City Charter, the City will hold an election at the next available election in March 2015, to fill the seat for the remainder of the term, which expires in January 2017 upon the successor qualifying for office and assuming the seat.
In the interim, the City Council will be accepting applications to fill the vacancy. Application materials and further information is available at City Hall and at this link.
Applications must be received by the City Recorder by 5:00 pm on Monday, October 27, 2014
