CONSTRUCTION UPDATE (May 21st, 2026)
THE SIGNAL HAS BEEN TURNED ON AND ACTIVATED FOR USE
New Traffic Pattern Ahead signs have been placed at the approaches for advanced notice.
School zone flashers are working on SW Sunset Blvd at SW Woodhaven Drive (eastbound) and east of SW Timbrel Lane (westbound).
The new school zone flasher due west of SW Timbrel Lane will get turned on in early June and is waiting on a new sign and radio transmitter.
The new speed feedback signs located east and west of SW Timbrel Lane will get turned on in early June.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project involves a realignment of an existing crosswalk, updating ADA ramps, installation of school and speed feedback signs, enhanced street lighting, and adding a new pedestrian signal. The new pedestrian signal will eventually get converted to a full traffic signal with future development when signal warrants are met.
Project Schedule: July 2025 – June 2026.
