Sunset–Timbrel Intersection Construction Update: Expect Delays May 4–7

May 3, 2026

The City of Sherwood is advising residents and commuters to expect traffic delays at the Sunset Boulevard and Timbrel Lane intersection from May 4 through May 7, 2026. Work will take place between 8:30am and 2:00pm as crews install a new pedestrian signal, streetlights, and roadway signage. Traffic control flaggers will be on site to safely guide vehicles through the work zone.

Construction activity will pause early on Wednesday, May 6, to accommodate Middleton Elementary’s early release schedule. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible and allow extra travel time when traveling through the area.
