March 2, 2026The City of Sherwood is evaluating the awareness and usage of solid waste food scrap services provided by Pride Disposal. Did you know? Since January of 2023, Sherwood residents have been able to include food scraps in their yard debris (green) cart. Food scraps such as fruit and vegetable peels, coffee grounds, meat, seafood, eggshells, coffee grounds, table scraps, spoiled food and other compostable food waste can be collected alongside yard debris. This short survey will be open throughout the month of March, and participants may enter to win a prize!
