Road Closure Scheduled for Washington St. Paving: July 27–31
July 23, 2026The Washington St Improvements project continues next week with paving operations that will require a temporary road closure.
Beginning Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, SW Washington Street between SW Division Street and SW Tualatin Street, including the SW Division/SW Washington intersection, will be closed to through traffic while crews complete paving work.
To help maintain local access, the roadway will reopen overnight during the week for residents only, except on Wednesday, July 29, when the road will remain closed overnight for cement treatment work. Residents directly affected by the July 29 work will be contacted by the contractor and asked to temporarily relocate their vehicles before work begins.
The City recognizes there is also a nearby closure at Pine Street and will monitor traffic conditions on Monday to determine whether any adjustments are needed.
