Book Group Resources and Services
Book Selection Assistance
Our librarians are always happy to help you find the perfect title for a great discussion. Try our BookMatch service to have personalized recommendations sent to you, or email askusSPL@sherwoodoregon.gov.
Book Discussion Guide Assistance
Are you looking for the right questions to spark a lively discussion? Do you need additional book reviews or biographical information about an author? Let us help! For more information, email askusSPL@sherwoodoregon.gov or call the library at 503.625.6688.
Book Club Kits
Book Club Kits are a convenient way to access multiple copies of a title for your book group. Available to request via the WCCLS catalog, each Book Club Kit comes with 8-10 books and a discussion guide. Please note, Book Club Kits are checked out to one library card holder. If books are distributed to group members, it is the card holder's responsibility to collect and return them all together in the kit.
Accessing Multiple Copies
Multiple copies and formats of a book may be made available by request. Each group member will need to check out the book on their own library card. For more information, please email askusSPL@sherwoodoregon.gov.
Community Bulletin Board
Is your group looking for new members? Advertise in the library! Bring a poster to the library or email it as a PDF to askusSPL@sherwoodoregon.gov and we'll hang it on our community bulletin board.
