Miniature Castle Contest
Saturday, July 12, 2025
It’s time for the yearly Miniature Castle Contest! Make a little castle to display at the library. You may even win an award.
Use whatever materials you’d like to make a castle no bigger than 7 inches by 7 inches by 7 inches. This is smaller than in previous years. Our display case was overflowing last year! Castles can be made alone or in groups by people of all ages. Entries are accepted July 1-13th.
Castles will be voted on by library staff and the Maid Marian court. Winners will be announced on July 18th to coincide with the annual Sherwood Robin Hood Festival. Learn more about the festival here.
For more details or to download an entry form, see the pdfs attached at the bottom of the webpage. Make sure to print your form at the default size (not scaled) if you’d like to use the 7 inch template to measure your castle.
