“The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door …”
Can you write a scary story using just two sentences? We’ve got a spooky contest just in time for Halloween! Each person can write two stories, and submit them in person or online through Facebook message or email at askusSPL@sherwoodoregon.gov. The top winners will get prizes, winners announced shortly after Halloween 2023!
Our prize winners receive magnetic poetry set and/or fun halloween prizes (including candy, of course). Big thanks to this year’s judges: our local library teen volunteer club TeenLAB.
Look for a celebration of the winners and honorable mentions on social media this week.
