November 3, 2026 General Election
On the November 3, 2026, general election ballot, the City of Sherwood will be holding elections for four (4) City Council positions whose terms will be expiring. The following city council seats will be up for election. Candidate filing opens on June 3, 2026. Candidates must file with the Sherwood City Recorder at Sherwood City Hall, 22560 SW Pine Street. See election filing forms and information, Sherwood 2026 General Election Packet. The terms of office for the following positions will begin in January 2027 upon taking an Oath of Office.
Mayoral Tim Rosener (2-year term)
City Councilor Taylor Giles (4-year term)
City Councilor Doug Scott (4-year term)
City Councilor Keith Mays (4-year term)
Statement of Economic Interest
All members of the City Council are required to file an Annual Verified Statement of Economic Interest with the Oregon Government Ethics Commission. Additional information is available here.
Eligibility
To be eligible to serve on the Sherwood City Council, candidates must be a Sherwood resident for one year at the time of election and must be a registered voter. To qualify for the ballot, a candidate can either submit a preapproved petition or can file by paying a $10 filing fee.
