The project is a continuation of the previous Phase 1 project that picks up the remaining furnishings in downtown Sherwood. The project includes repainting various fixtures, such as light poles, bollards, bike tracks, trash receptacles, and benches. The fixtures are located along:
- SW Railroad St between Main and Pine
- SW Washington St between 1st and Railroad
- SW Pine St between Railroad and Columbia
- SW Columbia St between Pine St and approximately 200 ft northeast from Pine St
Construction to begin in early September 2025 with completion in early October 2025.
Due to the location and nature of this work, outdoor seating may be impacted for short periods of time. Access to business is not anticipated to be impacted at this time. It will be part of the contractor’s work to inform neighbors when access will be limited. The contractor is responsible for protecting all public and private property from damage related to the work, including but not limited to overspray. This includes protection of windows, sidewalks, vehicles, signs, and any other potentially affected areas. The City’s inspector will be monitoring progress daily.
Due to minimal impact to adjoining properties, a public meeting will not be held for this project.
We appreciate your patience during the construction period. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Sofi Lam, P.E. at (503) 925-2303 or lams@sherwoodoregon.gov.
