Sheds or accessory structures less than 200 square feet in area and less than twelve feet average height do not require a permit.  Detached structures between 100 - 200 sq. ft. and under 10 ft. in height need to be at least 3 ft. from the rear or side yard property line.  No accessory structure over three ft. in height is permitted in a front yard nor can they be taller than 15 ft. in height.

How long will it take me to get my permit?

The building department makes every effort to process your permit in a timely manner.  We try to have residential permits reviewed within 2-3 weeks of submittal.  Commercial project are 4-6 weeks.
