Financial Audit Services
The City of Sherwood and its component unit, the Sherwood 2021 Urban Renewal Agency is seeking sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide Financial Audit Services (“Project”). Firms are invited to submit a proposal outlining their experience and qualifications in providing municipal audit services in the state of Oregon.
Sealed proposals will be accepted until March 30, 2026, 5:00 p.m., at City Hall, 22560 SW Pine Street, Sherwood, Oregon, Attention: David Bodway, Finance Director. Facsimile proposals will not be accepted. Proposals will not be accepted after the stated opening date and time. Late proposals will be returned to the firm unopened. No responsibility will be attached to any official of the City for the premature opening of, or the failure to open, a proposal not properly addressed and identified.
The complete Request for Proposals is on file with and may be obtained from the City of Sherwood Finance Department, 22560 SW Pine Street, Sherwood, Oregon 97140, (503) 625-5522 or finance@sherwoodoregon.gov, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Request for Proposals can also be obtained from the City’s website www.sherwoodoregon.gov.
Proposers are required to certify non-discrimination in employment practices in accordance with ORS 279A.110(4), and identify resident status as defined in ORS 279A.120(1). Pre-qualification of Proposers is not required. All Proposers are required to comply with the provisions of Oregon Revised Statutes.
The City of Sherwood reserves the right to (1) reject any or all proposals not in compliance with public bidding procedures; (2) postpone award of the contract for a period not to exceed 180 days from the date of proposal opening; (3) waive informalities in the proposals; and (4) select the proposal that appears to be in the best interest of the City.
