The annual catch basin replacement program which replaces unsumped catch basins to the 18” sumped catch basin that complies with Clean Water Services. The 18” sump allows sediments to settle at the bottom, preventing sediments from going into the city storm system and eventually into the creeks.
We anticipate construction to begin in August 2026 with completion in September 2026.
Due to the location and nature of this work, please anticipate that driveway access for homes near the inlets to be replaced will be affected for short periods of time and that there will be construction noise from the work to be performed. If the inlet is located in front of your driveway, driveway access at the location of the inlet will be unavailable for a couple of weeks. The City’s inspector will be monitoring progress daily.
