State of the City 2026

April 21, 2026

The City of Sherwood welcomed a strong turnout for the 2026 State of the City event, held at the Sherwood Center for the Arts on Wednesday, April 15. Community members gathered for an engaging evening that celebrated the past year’s accomplishments and looked ahead to the future of Sherwood.

The program began with an outstanding performance by the Sherwood Arrows High School Dance Team, setting the tone for the evening. Mayor Rosener then delivered remarks highlighting key milestones and progress made across the community over the past year. The presentation also featured two videos that helped bring these achievements to life and showcased the impact of ongoing projects and initiatives.

The City extends its sincere appreciation to the many partners who contributed to the success of this event, including Al’s Garden & Home, 503 Uncorked, Cooper Mountain Ale Works for catering, Bill Hernandez for live music, and In Gear Marketing for video production. City staff coordinated a seamless evening, ensuring a welcoming and well-organized experience for all who attended.

For those who were unable to join, the full program, including the featured videos, is available on the City’s website. Visit the City Council page and click on the “State of the City” tab to view the recording: https://www.sherwoodoregon.gov/government/city-council/.
