Slurry Seal Project Rescheduled to August 3 – 6
July 24, 2026Due to recent weather conditions and the contractor’s schedule, the City of Sherwood’s slurry seal project has been rescheduled.
The project will now take place Monday, August 3, through Thursday, August 6.
If your street is included in this phase of the project, please review the updated schedule and plan ahead. During construction, affected streets will be temporarily closed while the slurry seal is applied and allowed to cure. Slurry seal work will be conducted between 8am and 5pm each day.
Please avoid parking or driving on affected streets during the scheduled closure periods and move vehicles before work begins.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we complete this important roadway maintenance project. Slurry seal helps preserve pavement, extend the life of our streets, and keep Sherwood’s roadways in good condition. If you have any questions, please contact the Public Works Department at 503.625.5722.
