Elwert Road and Edy Road Realignment Feasibility Study

Overview

A realignment of Elwert and Edy Road is being studied to support planned growth in Sherwood West, which was recently added to the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB). The study will examine feasibility, environmental considerations and cost for several alignment alternatives.

Project Partners

The Project is a collaboration between:

  • Washington County, which maintains jurisdiction over Elwert and Edy Roads
  • City of Sherwood, leading the Sherwood West Comprehensive Planning

Supporting Decision-Making

The final report will guide decision-making by City and County leadership as they plan for future transportation needs in Sherwood West.

Advancing the Project

After the Feasibility Study concludes, additional work through the Sherwood West comprehensive planning process will refine design details and identify potential funding strategies. Funding for future design and construction will be determined as part of that process.
