ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Melody Guy is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter, guitarist, and road-tested troubadour whose fearless storytelling, unforgettable voice, and emotional authenticity have carried her across more than two million touring miles throughout the United States.

Blending Americana, rock, country, soul, and pop, Melody’s sound has drawn comparisons to iconic voices such as Eva Cassidy, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, and Grace Slick. Melody has earned standing ovations at the Ryman Auditorium and shared stages with an impressive range of artists including Keith Urban, Tanya Tucker, Leon Russell, Nanci Griffith, The Avett Brothers, Ashley McBryde, Maren Morris, Amy Grant, and John Michael Montgomery.

Her newest album, Train to Dreamland, marks her evolution as both songwriter and producer. The 15-track record blends driving rock energy with Americana soul, intimate storytelling, and richly layered musicianship. Her previous album, Dry the Rivers, received a full album premiere in Billboard and further established her as a distinctive and compelling voice in Americana music.

In 2026, Melody was named a finalist in the prestigious New Folk Competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival, recognizing her songwriting among some of the most promising voices in contemporary folk and Americana music.

Beyond the stage, Melody is a passionate advocate for music’s healing power. She has led songwriting and choir workshops at Barefoot Republic Camp, hosted by Amy Grant, and has collaborated through music-centered retreats with veterans living with PTSD and residents of Thistle Farms.

Whether performing solo, with a small ensemble, or with a full band, Melody Guy brings warmth, grit, humor, and emotional depth to every stage she steps on making her a favorite among listening rooms, festivals, and dedicated fans across the country.
