The City of Sherwood and Sherwood Dental Care are proud to present the 30th annual Music on the Green concert series! We are excited for the return of live music at Stella Olsen Park. This year the series will host FIVE bands/artists. Concerts happen every Wednesday, 6:30pm – 8:30pm, from July 8 August 5. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, your picnic goodies, and settle down for an evening of relaxation and entertainment!
Food and beverage will be available for purchase from a handful of vendors – convenient for those coming straight from work, out of town OR if you don’t feel like packing a meal!

ABOUT THE BAND:
With decades of experience and a reputation for bringing people together, Conjunto Alegre has become a staple in the Pacific Northwest, offering not just music, but a cultural celebration that leaves every crowd buzzing with excitement.
Since 1987, Conjunto Alegre has been lighting up stages with their vibrant blend of salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata, and chachachá. Drawing inspiration from the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, and beyond, the band seamlessly weaves together Spanish and English hits to create an inclusive, high-energy performance for audiences of all ages. To hear Conjunto Alegré perform is like grabbing your passport and taking a musical whirlwind tour of Latin America.
The band’s energetic performances and strong rapport with audiences have established them as a sought-after act at numerous venues and events, such as the Mt Hood Jazz Festival, Portland Mayor’s Ball, Rose Festival, Cinco De Mayo, Ilani Casino, Eugene Celebration, Salem Art Festival, Oregon County Fair, and city summer concerts across Oregon and Washington state. Group leader Aquiles Montas is one of the most energetic performers you will ever see on stage and is also one of the greatest champions of Latin music in the region.
