BSA Eagle and GS Gold Award Projects

The City of Sherwood has a variety of projects for BSA Eagle Scout and GS Gold Award. These projects are designed to allow you to demonstrate your leadership and project management skills you have learned through the scouting years.

  • Retired Flag Dropbox (Completed)
  • Shed (Completed)
  • Composting System (Completed)
  • Shade structure (Must be pervious)
  • Children’s Garden Masterplan (Multi-phase/multiple projects)
  • Wayfinding sign (Completed)
  • Community board (Completed)
  • Sharing table (Completed)
  • Benches (Ongoing)
  • Little Free Library (Completed)
  • Create bee-friendly environment (Completed)
  • New trail head arch near 2nd and Park going into Stella Olsen (Completed)
  • Trail heads and/or trail markers (One phase Completed, more available)
  • Mile markers (Completed)
  • Raised garden beds (Completed)
  • Benches / outdoor seating
  • Outdoor table
  • Little Free Library
  • Flag pole (would need to include electrical)
  • Obstacle course for Police K-9, Irma (Completed)
