Overview

Beautiful, entertaining and safe parks are an important element of Sherwood’s culture. Predictability, maintenance, renovation, and security are very high priorities of the Parks Department of Public Works.

Our Public Works Department takes great pride in providing the citizens of Sherwood with well managed and maintained parks. We strive to ensure our parks provide a safe place for special events, community gatherings and celebrations. To accomplish this we perform ongoing maintenance, have sound management policies in place, and periodically renovate the grounds and structures.
