Hydrant Flushing Program

Our hydrant flushing program is very important to our water system. It is an integral part of our ongoing effort to deliver the safest and highest quality water possible.

Waterline Main Breaks

Although water main breaks are rare, they do occur from time to time. When they do happen, we immediately send our crews out to the leak and work until the leak is fixed.

Water Meter Purchase

“Meter Purchasing” refers to buying the right to use the water meter and paying for the demand on the City of Sherwood’s water system.

Cross-Connection/Backflow

Customers who have cross connections are responsible for preventing contaminants from entering the public water system.
