Sherwood is situated along Highway 99W, just northeast of Newberg, making it well-positioned to become the Northern Gateway to Wine Country. Due to the distinctive terroir of the rich and fertile Willamette Valley, Oregon vineyards and wineries produce some of the most sought-after wines in the world. The City of Sherwood  and Economic Development Department is working with interested parties to promote the City as a vineyard and winery-friendly location and a destination for wine tourism. Come enjoy some of the local wineries with tasting rooms in Old Town or venture about to the more than 60 wineries around Sherwood!
