Customers who have cross connections are responsible for preventing contaminants from entering the public water system through their individual plumbing system by installing and maintaining approved backflow prevention assemblies.  We require residents and businesses to have a test performed annually to ensure it’s working correctly.

Your monthly Utility Bill is more than just water.  Check out the current rates for each line item as approved by Council.

Sherwood’s water rights for the Willamette River require our monitoring of the wild fish habitat downstream, especially during the spawning season, and exercising conservation measures if targets are not met.

Thank you for your interest in conserving water! For more details and interactive family activities about water conservation visit the Regional Water Providers Coalition website.

Developing an additional water supply through a partnership supports the region’s plans for responsible growth within urban growth boundaries.

Protection and prevention are the keys to keeping your water running in cold weather.  With the onset of winter, unpredictable weather can sneak up on you and wreak havoc on unprepared water pipes.

We are pleased to play such a large part in your life and to provide you safe, reliable drinking water. Read more about your safe, reliable drinking water by clicking the button below.
