TriMet Southwest Service Enhancement Draft Plan
Over the past year, TriMet has been meeting with the Sherwood citizens, business owners, and City staff to discuss expanding bus services in the Southwest part of the region (Tigard, Tualatin, SW Portland, Sherwood, Lake Oswego, West Linn, King City and Durham). As a result, TriMet has developed a "Southwest Service Enhancement Plan Draft Vision for Future Service" for improved bus service in the Southwest.
Specific to Sherwood residents, the vision includes expanded bus service to the YMCA and service into Tualatin from Sherwood. Links to the TriMet's page regarding the Southwest and to review the Draft are provided in the section below. There is an opportunity to sign up for email updates to receive subsequent information from TriMet about the Southwest.
Using the result from a survey that ended October 24, 2014 and other outreach methods, TriMet will develop a revised vision for improved bus service in Southwest, available to the public in early 2015, with a final version completed by Spring 2015.
