County Proposes Transportation System Plan Amendments
Washington County has submitted two proposals to amend the City’s Transportation System Plan (TSP). These amendments are associated with the widening of Tualatin Sherwood road known as the Washington County MSTIP 3d Tualatin Sherwood Road (Adams to Borchers) project. The purpose of the amendments are to address the off-corridor circulation in the County’s safety and capacity improvements for Tualatin Sherwood Road by extending SW Baler Way and Adams Avenue N (near the Home Depot). For more information regarding the proposed amendments and the County project visit our Current Planning Page or click on the informational links below.
The County TSP Amendments are separate from the City's Transportation System Plan Update Project and are a City Council decision based on a recommendation from the Planning Commission. The first public hearing regarding these amendments will be held at the Planning Commission meeting scheduled for December 10, 2013 at 7 pm at City Hall. Anyone may testify at the hearing verbally or in writing. Written statements are encouraged and may be submitted to the Planning Department, City Hall, 22560 SW Pine Street.
