Mystery Monday @ The MSSCC: Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier
Calendar Date:
Monday, October 2, 2023 - 4:00pm
Discuss: Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier
From the opening words, the reader is ushered into an isolated gray stone mansion on the windswept Cornish coast, as the second Mrs. Maxim de Winter recalls the chilling events that transpired as she began her new life as the young bride of a husband she barely knew. For in every corner of every room were phantoms of a time dead but not forgotten—a past preserved by the sinister housekeeper, Mrs. Danvers. (HarperCollins)
The Mystery Monday Book Group meets the first Monday of each month at 4pm. As of the time of writing, we are meeting in the center as well as over Zoom. There are a limited number of books reserved for checkout behind the front desk of the Sherwood Library a month before the meeting for each book. We look forward to reading with you!
