Calendar Date:
Monday, August 7, 2023 - 4:00pm
Discuss: The Intuitionist by Colson Whitehead
There are two warring factions within the Department of Elevator Inspectors: the Empiricists and the Intuitionists. Lila Mae is an Intuitionist with the highest accuracy rate in the entire department. But when an elevator in a new city building goes into total freefall on her watch, chaos ensues. She goes underground to investigate the crash and finds a secret that will change her life forever. (Penguin Random House)
The Mystery Monday Book Group meets the first Monday of each month at 4pm. As of the time of writing, we are meeting in the center as well as over Zoom. There are a limited number of books reserved for checkout behind the front desk of the Sherwood Library a month before the meeting for each book. We look forward to reading with you!
