Discuss IQ by Joe Ide
East Long Beach. The LAPD is barely keeping up with the neighborhood’s high crime rate. Murders go unsolved, lost children unrecovered. But someone from the neighborhood has taken it upon himself to help solve the cases the police can’t or won’t touch. They call him IQ. He’s a loner and a high school dropout, his unassuming nature disguising a relentless determination and a fierce intelligence. (Mulholland Books)
The Mystery Monday Book Group meets the first Monday of each month at 4pm. As of the time of writing, we are meeting in the center as well as over Zoom. There are a limited number of books reserved for checkout behind the front desk of the Sherwood Library a month before the meeting for each book. We look forward to reading with you!
