The Experience of an Aging Mind
Calendar Date:
Friday, June 23, 2023 - 3:00pm
We continue to celebrate healthy aging with this workshop about how our brain ages and how we experience those changes. This conversation will correct myths of aging, normalize mental changes and mental health experiences, and help participants recognize internal change and be a proactive participant in life transitions.
Each meeting will be facilitated by Joan Laguzza, LCSW, a clinical social worker licensed in the State of Oregon who specializes in working with older adults and issues related to aging. Joan's goal is to eliminate stigma related to aging through community education as well as to rediscover your Joie de Vivre (Joy of Living). More information about Joan can be found at www.joiepdx.com
