Decision Maker: The Sherwood Planning Commission will make a recommendation to City Council.  Sherwood City Council is the final decision maker.

Virtual Public Hearing Date: Planning Commission is March 8, 2022 at 7 pm. Tentative Virtual City Council Public Hearing is April 19, 2022 at 7 pm.

Pursuant to House Bill 4212 (2020), this meeting will be conducted electronically and will be live streamed at https://www.youtube.com/user/CityofSherwood

Public Hearing Comment Period: Oregon Law typically requires the City to permit any person to appear in person to ask questions or comment on public hearing matters. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, persons interested in participating may provide written comments at least 24 hours in advance of a hearing by emailing changj@Sherwoodoregon.gov at least 24 hours in advance of the hearing. An email submitted must clearly state that it is intended as testimony for a public hearing, the specific public hearing topic for which it is intended and must be received at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled meeting time.

In addition, the Planning Commission will set aside time to permit the public to add comments during the hearing. During the live Planning Commission meeting, community comments on non-hearing items and public hearing testimony can be given. To participate, please call or email Joy Chang at 503-625-4214 or changj@sherwoodoregon.gov by 5:00 PM on Monday, March 7, 2022, to receive instructions.
Public testimony should be limited to the findings of fact in the Staff Report, the above criteria, or other City or State applicable land use standards. Only those persons who provide testimony may appeal the decision. Failure to raise an issue accompanied by statements or evidence sufficient to afford the decision-maker and the parties an opportunity to respond to the issue will preclude appeal, on said issue, to the Appeal Authority or State Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA).
