Water Feature Information and Hours of Operation
The water features at Snyder Park and at the Cannery Square are scheduled to operate from the Friday of Memorial Day weekend through the end of September from 9 am to 9 pm.
Bookmark this page to check the availability of the water features before you leave your home. If we anticipate a closure for repairs or maintenance we will announce it here first. Please call Public Works at 503.625.5722 to report a problem at any time. If you call outside of normal business hours you will have the option to speak with an operator who can further assist you.
The water features have signs with rules and information to observe. The sign is pictured below and it reads as follows:
Water Feature Rules
WARNING: NO LIFEGUARD
Parents - do not leave your children unsupervised.
1. Please note the water feature will not be supervised by City Staff.
2. All children under 8 years old must accompanied by an adult.
3. All persons who are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers.
4. No glass containers or sharp objects allowed in water feature area.
5. No food or drink allowed within 4 feet of the water feature area.
6. No bikes, skate boards, roller blades, etc. permitted.
7. No running, fighting, improper language or disorderly conduct of any type.
8. No animals allowed in water feature area.
9. Drinking and spitting of the pool water is discouraged.
10. Do not use pool if you have had diarrhea in the last two weeks.
11. Violation of these rules will be cause for suspension of use priveleges.
