2024 Pavement Rehabilitation Projects (Sunset, Meinecke Roundabout & Timbrel)
Project ID:
TBD
Maintenance
Project Status:
Approved
The City uses a Pavement Management System which evaluates the condition of our roadways. This system utilizes evaluations to determine the year and the type of pavement restoration necessary to preserve and maintain our roadways. This year, three road sections have been identified to undergo rehabilitation by placement of a new asphalt pavement surface:
- Sunset Blvd between Main St & Eucalyptus
- Meinecke Roundabout at Dewey (Possible night work)
- Timbrel between Middleton and Sunset
We anticipate construction to begin in Spring 2024 with completion in Summer 2024.
Due to the nature of the work, please anticipate some access delays during construction. It will be part of the contractor’s work to inform adjacent residents and businesses of the work schedule. The attached maps show the approximate limits of construction.
Due to minimal impact to adjoining properties, a public meeting will not be held for this project.
We appreciate your patience during the construction period. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Craig Christensen, P.E at (503) 925.2301 or christensenc@sherwoodoregon.gov.
Status Updates
This project is currently out to bid until May 16, 2024. Contract award is scheduled for the May 21, 2024 City Council meeting.
