Mayor Clark-Endicott Submits Resignation - Councilors Harris & Robinson Choose to Challenge Recall Efforts
Prior to the 5:00 pm deadline today, the City Recorder’s Office for the City of Sherwood received a written letter of resignation from Mayor Krisanna Clark-Endicott. In addition, the City Recorder’s Office also received completed Statements of Justification (Form SEL352) from both City Councilor Jennifer Harris and City Councilor Sally Robinson. All of these responses are the result of the individual recall petitions against these three members of Sherwood City Council that were certified to qualify for the ballot by Washington County Elections on September 27, 2017.
As a result of these responses, ballots for the election on the question of recalling Councilors Harris and Robinson will be produced and mailed by Washington County Elections starting on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. The county-set election date for this special election is Tuesday, October 17, 2017.
