Residential Landscape Rebate

Paying You to Make Water-Efficient Choices Save Water and Money

Water is a precious resource.
Did you know that outdoor water use, mostly lawn and garden watering, can double or triple in the summer? Over-watering is the #1 cause of wasted water in the summer and a leading cause of plant disease and insect problems. The purpose of this landscape rebate program is to educate our customers on ways to use water wisely and at the same time, improve the appearance of their landscapes.

The Landscape Rebate is comprised of one or a combination of the following components:

Rain Sensor/Switch ($25*)
Stop your automatic irrigation system from watering when rainfall is doing the job. A rain sensor or switch will temporarily disengage your irrigation system until the rain has stopped. *Actual cost of the device up to a maximum of $25.

Lawn Aeration ($25*)
Aerate the soil to correct excessive soil compaction so water and fertilizers can penetrate to the roots where they are needed. *Actual cost of the aeration up to a maximum of $25. The aeration rebate is one time only.

Pressure Regulation ($25*)
Water pressure that is higher than what the irrigation system is rated for will cause your spray heads to fog and waste water. Reducing the pressure, either at the main point of connection, automatic control valve, or at the individual spray heads, will maximize the efficiency of your system and save water. *Actual cost of the device(s) up to a maximum of $25.

Manual Hose Bib Timer ($25*)
Never worry about forgetting to turn the sprinkler off again. Hose timers reliably turn off hoses and sprinklers at pre-set times. *A maximum of two timers for a rebate maximum of $12.50 each.
