Parks Operations

Beautiful, entertaining and safe parks are a very important element of Sherwood’s culture. Predictability, maintenance, renovation, and security are very high priorities of the Parks Department of Public Works.

The citizens of Sherwood have witnessed and have grown accustomed to a high standard of Park management and maintenance. The Parks are carefully managed to ensure that each site provides its users and the residents of Sherwood a safe place for special events, community gatherings and celebrations.  A combination of sound management policies, ongoing maintenance and periodic renovation of grounds and structures is needed to protect public resources and ensure the long term functioning of the Park system.

If you see a need for repair or improvement in a park please call the Public Works Department at 503 625-5722 or email a message to operations@sherwoodoregon.gov.
