Police Survey
As the Police Department moves into 2011, we asked for input from Sherwood residents. The leadership at the Police Department is interested in what the Sherwood Community thinks, and we will be using the input received.

A link to the results of the survey can be found  here.

Dear Community Members:

Happy New Year 2012!  The new edition of the Crime Prevention Connection, our monthly crime prevention newsletter, is now available.  This monthly police department newsletter provides easy-to-use information on crime prevention to help you learn how to stay safer with insight from our knowledgeable, professional police department staff.
In January's edition:

It's 2012 and we have a resolution suggestion for you!
Healthier living, more exercise, getting organized - those are all great things.  But, how about practicing better crime prevention this year?  It's not hard and can pay great dividends.  We'll show you how when you read this month's article, What's Your Resolution.   Click Here

What are your kids doing on-line?

We can get on-line in so many ways now that it's hard to keep track - laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc.  But what we DO need to keep track of, is what our kids are doing on-line and with whom they are connecting.  By being an involved (i.e. "nosy") parent, you can prevent problems your kids may not be able to correct if they occur.  We give you solid advice on how to keep social networking safe for your children in our Monthly 2DO List article, Kids and Computers.     Click Here

Light 'em up!

That's not only for when the traffic officer pulls over a speeder, but what you should be doing to protect your home and property at night.  In Illuminating Prevention, we'll shine a light on how best to keep crooks away from your home using lights, timers and smarts!    Click Here
