The Parks and Recreation Board is appointed by the City Council and advises the City Council and staff on issues related to parks, trails, open space and recreation services. The Board evaluates the needs within the city and makes recommendations on park budget, project priorities, park acquisition and development. Citizen members are appointed to a two year term. The Board consists of 9 members.
The Parks Board meets the first Monday of every month, 7pm at the Library/City Hall, 22560 SW Pine Street.
