Process of becoming a Volunteer in the Library
• Submit an on-line application
• The Volunteer Coordinator will schedule an interview with you
• On the day of your interview, let Library Staff know that you are here to meet with the
Volunteer Coordinator
• Discuss your interest and availability in the interview
• Training for your position will be scheduled, based on a match of current Library needs
On your first day of volunteering in the Library
• Let the Library Staff know that you are here to meet with the Volunteer Coordinator
• Put belongings in designated location
• Meet the Library Staff and your Staff Partner
• Get photo taken for ID badge
• Learn all about your new position!
• Write down your name and hours in the logbook
• See you next week!

• The Volunteer Coordinator will schedule an interview with you
• On the day of your interview, let the City Hall Receptionist know that you are here to meet
with the Volunteer Coordinator
• Discuss your interest and availability in the interview
• Training for your position will be scheduled, based on a match of current City Hall needs
On your first day of volunteering in City Hall
• Let the City Receptionist know who you are scheduled to meet with
• Review City policies and procedures with Volunteer Coordinator
• Get photo taken for ID badge by Volunteer Coordinator
• Put belongings in designated location
• Meet City Hall Staff and get to know your Staff Supervisor
• Learn all about your new position!
• See you next week!
