**Latest Update**
SW Pine Street between 1st and 3rd Streets will be closed for construction Monday, August 30th and Tuesday, August 31st.
Street striping and cleanup will occur September 1st and 2nd. Although Pine Street will be open during this time, traffic delays are to be expected.
This schedule may change with minimum notice. Sherwood citizens are encouraged to check back regularly for the most current updates.

Background Information
One of the projects the City has been working on this past winter is for the pavement restoration of Sherwood Boulevard between SW 3rd Street and SW Langer Drive. This project is being funded with monies from the Federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), where the design and construction is being overseen by the State of Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). In an effort to save money and provide efficiency, the City of Sherwood teamed with the Cities of Cornelius and Tigard to issue a joint ODOT contract for design and construction services within all the Cities.
